Kaju Tours was founded with a vision rooted in humility and a deep sense of community. The name Kaju itself holds a special significance; it refers to a traditional round grass-thatched house, symbolizing the humble backgrounds of the founders and their commitment to preserving the cultural heritage of Uganda. Our company was established with two primary goals: to promote Uganda’s vibrant tourism and to positively impact the lives of disadvantaged individuals in our community.
Kaju Tours is proud to partner with the Kazenga Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged children. As part of this collaboration, 10% of the profits from Kaju Tours are directed to the foundation to help cover tuition fees for children in Kyamutunzi, Greater Mwenge north ,Buyaga West, Kyenjojo District. This initiative allows us to contribute to the education and well-being of those who need it most, creating a brighter future for our community.
Behind Kaju Tours are three passionate directors: Mr. Kapere Richard, Mr. Kyalisiima Richard, and Dr. Tukwasiibwe Stephen, whose shared vision for both tourism and social impact led to the company’s inception. The company officially launched on December 15, 2023, Kaju Tours is committed to offering unforgettable travel experiences while making a lasting difference in the lives of many.
